How To Manage Complexity In Digital Transformation With The New Kid On The Block: SIGNAVIO

I’m gonna write about why you should use Signavio to achieve your ultimate goal, which is turning into an efficient digital company. But in parallel, I’ll also write something about process mining and its marvelous additions to companies. As you all know, in today’s world, digital transformation is one of the most complex phenomenons for companies, if not the most.

Let’s start with why digital transformation is such a problem and what is the best way to challenge this mess. First, I’ll try to diagnose the problem then fix it.

Companies around the world make enormous investments (both material and immaterial) for digital transformation projects. I’m not only talking about the money you invested in also external expertise, human resources but motivation of the employees you acquired is also limited as well. Companies have only had one shot to complete their transformation journey and it is not enough to just finish the transformation and collect awards upon the project. They must create value after all.   1. The complexity of S/4 HANA projects: Let’s face it. It is an unbelievably complex work to change all the processes of a company and implement these processes with different applications in a very limited amount of time. And in reality, analyzed processes are changed in time. And during the periods when the project work is intensified, it is not possible to track and approve all the changes so this is where the chaos starts. Of course, this situation causes increased costs and project delays and many more uncountable problems.

We listed the problems, we can now move on to the solutions.

Let me highlight an important point; all of the indicators you see are interactive and when you click on any metric you can see detailed investigation results why is this indicator red, yellow or green.


I have to mention that, these reports are not fixed. So you can build your own KPI’s and reports and design it as you wish. By doing this, you can highlight your defect points and re-design your desired process. You can also use our KPI library to speed up transformation projects.

After you build and agree on your as-is state, now you should design your target point with Signavio BPM tool, Process Manager. You can document, centralize and collaborate for all of your processes with Signavio Process Manager.


Besides, you can also highlight the non-compliant process steps, risks, and ineffective points that you already know in Process Manager therefore you can easily take or plan necessary actions in the phase of realization or design.

After you define your as-is situation with PI and state your target model with PM, now you should build the workflows to track your journey starting from as-is stage and finish in to-be phase.
